Given the modular design the unit can be configured to offer L band Tx and Rx, 70 MHz Tx and Rx, any combination of L and 70MHz or both L and 70MHz.It can be just Tx or Rx only. These numerous permutations ensure that the application requirements can be meet.

A unique feature is the ability to provide a second demodulator in conjunction with a modulator. This can be used in hub applications for store configured FDMA and frame relay networks.

The modem has a data rate from 9.6 kbps to 4.1 Mbps with the modulator & demodulator independently programmable, in 1bps resolution.

Its directly modulated L band transmit signal band to extremely pure spectrum resulting in efficient uplink system & the L band has a resolution of 100Hz
